This event is suited for Hindu singles who are looking to meet singles interested in finding a life partner, and want to meet in person face to face.  There is no language or caste barrier.

In the past events, we have hosted candidates from all over the US and Canada. A handful even travel from Europe, India, and UAE. The average age at Rishta 2019 was 32 for ladies and 33 for gents; however, we hosted candidates as young as 23 up to 39. 

60% of candidates are local from New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. 40% fly in from other locations.

Rishta is unique because each candidate is assigned a coordinator who he or she can approach during and after the event to help get in touch with other candidates or their parents. Your coordinator will help you find suitable matches among the other candidates and work with you to help open doors on the day of the event. 

We use a highly sophisticated app that helps people match. You don’t need to give your phone number, email, or any other information to anyone else. You can chat on the app, and take it from there. Rishta is designed to give candidates the opportunity to meet, introduce themselves, and take back an experience that’s safe, fresh, exciting, and above all meaningful.

We are your friends, and we want you to feel at ease asking us questions, or telling us if you want to connect with a certain individual. Our events have been getting more relaxed and welcoming to a younger generation to allow them to feel as if they are coming to meet friends. We now also add an official afterparty to this event. However we know why we are here, and we won’t skip an opportunity to put 2 people at a table to meet in private if they match.

Those who come early on Friday can join other candidates at the local restaurant at the hotel for an informal mixer. At 7:30 registration starts followed by the themed social mixer. The theme is a surprise and disclosed to the candidates 1 week prior to the event. Dinner is included.

Yes, Rishta used to be $225 to attend for everyone. For the first time, we are announcing an early registration fee of $175 for a limited time. This price will change to $225 on October 28th.

We strongly urge you to get insurance with your flights and hotel bookings. If you cannot make it, we will not be able to refund the fee to you as your name will already be printed in the book. Nope. Plain and simple. We could just charge you for every parent, but we would rather create a comfortable and safe environment for you to meet singles instead.

We don’t advocate Alcohol, however, it may be available at the venues where we host events. We suggest you keep drinking for another day. We always have security on the premises.
